”What do you do with an IDEA?”

What do you do with an IDEA?”

The only real way to learn how to write a play is to write one (or two, or ten). And that’s what we’ll do here, over six weeks. Students will learn to give and receive constructive feedback, support each other, and reflect on their work. The culmination is an evening of readings.

Objective: Explore your imagination put pen to and paper.

STORYBOOK WORKSHOP

Students will craft simple scenes based on their favorite children’s literature. Then, I will help them construct their scenes into a PLAY presented at the end of the course.

Stage Shy? Don't Worry! This class does not mean you have get on stage for the production, however, playmaking does require enthusiasm, teamwork, and a commitment to creativity. Join the journey!

*This course was offered through Seeds of Enrichment in the FALL 2019 at Holland Hill Elementary in Fairfield, CT. Production of play is scheduled for May of 2020!
