MARGIE STOKLEY is an actress, playwright, painter, director, and parent. She began her career in the arts as a child actor in Houston and continued to work Off-Broadway and regionally since graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 1996. She co-founded the award-winning New York City-based, And how! Theater Company, where she helped foster new plays Off- Off Broadway from the seed of an idea to production. She has written six full-length plays; her play ELEPHANT was produced by And how! Theater Company, directed by Jessica Davis-Irons and produced by the Ontological Theater in 2005. New York Theatre Experience published ELEPHANT in Plays and Playwrights 2005 and excerpts by Smith and Krauss in their Best Women’s Stage Monologues 2005, Best Men’s Stage Monologues 2005, and 222 More Comedy Monologues in 2017. Excerpts also appear in Applause Book’s Best Monologues of the Millennium and DUO! Best Scenes for the Twenty-First Century. Her children’s musical STEVEN, commissioned by ArtNY, toured New York City and most recently was produced by Theater O in Ossining, NY. In addition, she co-created PERFECT HARMONY, a theatrical mockumentary with Andrew Grosso and the Essential Company. PERFECT HARMONY was published and licensed by Samuel French and was performed Off-Broadway at the Acorn Theatre, Clurman Theatre, Fringe NYC, Fringe Encores, and Stoneham Theatre (MA). 

She also co-owns a successful video production company RYAN SCOTT PRODUCTIONS with her husband Ryan Bronz.
